Dhampus
Peak located Northeast of the Mount Dhaulagiri massif.
It is in terms of climbing technicalities an easy mountain
to ascent. This is also known as a Thapa Peak. The overwhelming
altitude differences between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri
ranges make a very exposed spot to observe the scenery
from Dhampus Peak.
Though this expedition exceeds the 6000-meter frontier,
no technical climbing skills are required. This means
any experience in walking on snow/ice is advisable.
Dhampus peak climbing give you breathtaking scenery of
Tukuche peak and Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna
1,2,3 & 4, Tilicho Peak, Nilgiri South & North,
exploration beautiful hamlets around Kaligandaki.
Some climbers choose Dhampus Peak climbing and route via
Nayapul or Beni all the way via Kali Gandaki valley and
some climbers make Dhaulagiri Round trekking with Dhampus
Peak climbing.
